On behalf of the Romanian Association for Security Technology – ARTS, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 8th edition of Romanian Security Fair, which will take place from 14 to 16 October 2026 at ROMEXPO, Bucharest.

First of all, I would like to thank the exhibiting companies that have chosen to join us. Their participation represents much more than a presence in an exhibition space. Through their investment in technology, the experience and expertise they bring to the market, and their willingness to share knowledge, our exhibitors are what gives Romanian Security Fair its value and contribute directly to the development of the security industry.

I would also like to thank ARTS partners, professional organizations, representatives of public authorities and everyone who contributes to building this community.

 

 

RSF is more than a trade fair.

 

 

RSF is the place where the industry comes together, openly discusses challenges, discovers new technologies, builds relationships and, perhaps most importantly, works together to find answers to increasingly complex problems.

The context in which we meet in 2026 is significantly different from that of previous editions. Geopolitical changes, regional vulnerabilities, growing pressure on critical infrastructure and the acceleration of digital transformation show us that security can no longer be approached in isolation.

Physical security, cybersecurity, communications, artificial intelligence, data analytics, IoT and automation are becoming increasingly interconnected. At the same time, technology alone is not enough.

We need skills, standards, regulations adapted to current realities, professional responsibility and, above all, cooperation between companies, specialists, professional organizations and public authorities.

 

REGIONAL PARTNERSHIP

This is why one of the key ideas we want to promote at this edition is regional partnership.

The risks we face do not stop at borders, and neither should our responses. Romania is part of a region where the exchange of experience, technology and best practices can make a significant contribution to improving security and resilience.

The partnerships developed by ARTS with a&s Adria and the Adria Security Summit community, as well as our collaboration with PISA, the professional association in Poland, are concrete examples of this openness. The joint organization of Romanian Security Summit, the participation of Romanian professionals in regional events and the development of relationships with professional associations from other countries demonstrate that there is genuine interest in building a better-connected security community across Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

We want to continue in this direction and strengthen Bucharest's role as one of the important meeting points for the regional security industry.

In the same spirit, ALARMA magazine must continue to be a voice of Romania's professional security community and a platform through which the experience, opinions, projects and expertise of our specialists can gain visibility beyond the local market.

 

THE ROMANIAN MARKET AND ARTS' ROLE

For ARTS, however, this regional openness does not mean paying less attention to the challenges facing the Romanian market. On the contrary.

The local industry still needs a legislative framework adapted to technological developments, standards and best practices, a higher level of professional training and a genuine dialogue between the private sector and public institutions.

In this regard, ARTS aims to remain a facilitator of dialogue between the industry, public authorities, standardization bodies, academia and end users of security solutions, as well as a strong supporter of its members and of a competitive environment based on professionalism and quality.

 

 

Romanian Security Fair is one of the most visible expressions of this mission.

 

 

Here, we can see first-hand where the industry is heading. We can discuss artificial intelligence and video analytics, cybersecurity, access control and identity management, detection and alarm systems, fire protection, communications, drones, robotics, automation and the increasingly close integration of security systems and IT infrastructure.

But beyond products and technologies, RSF is about people and trust.

It is the place where manufacturers, distributors, integrators, designers, installers, consultants, security managers, representatives of public authorities and end users meet. It is the place where a contact can become a project, a conversation can become a partnership, and an idea can become a solution.

This is the value we want to strengthen.

I would like to thank all exhibitors, partners and colleagues who make this edition possible. Romanian Security Fair is our industry's event, and its value comes from the people and companies that choose to be part of it.
